News / 6 of the best family-friendly ski resorts

From magical sleigh rides to thrilling toboggan runs, there is little that excites children more than a chance to play in the snow. We’ve picked a few of our favourite hotels that offer little touches to please younger guests – from children’s clubs to free ride clinics for teens.

Insider tip: Visiting an indoor snow centre is a great opportunity to introduce children to skiing and snowboarding before committing to the real thing. Taster lessons and full courses led by professional instructors can prepare your family for the slopes on real snow, building confidence and techniques. Other snowy fun activities include tubing, tobogganing and après-ski themed dining.
